It’s a rare niche. That’s why you will not find too many WordPress DVD themes in the WordPress repository or marketplaces. But as a web developer, I have handpicked some themes just for the CD & DVD business. The list contains both free & premium themes. I am not affiliated with them. So the choice is yours.
Since you will sell CDs, DVDs, and other related products online, I have to make sure that your theme is compatible with WooCommerce. So your customers can order the products and make the payments online. Also, I will make sure that your website/theme works very well on mobile devices, loads very fast and its look & feel are very aligned with your niche.
Many DVD business owners generally go to ThemeForest first. And search for the exact DVD themes and buy a theme without much knowing it. That’s why I would like to mention two DVD-Themes which you should not buy.
Two Themes You Should Not Buy
1. BEBO
The developers do not support this (Bebo) theme. And a lot of the past customers have had negative experiences with this theme. So don’t buy it.
2. GAMEZ
I mentioned this topic first because many DVD business owners have purchased these two themes and most of them have negative experiences. More importantly, if you search for DVD themes on ThemeForest, these two themes come first in search results. Now, at least, you will not make the same mistake.
WordPress DVD Themes (Premium)
1. Electro Electronics Store WooCommerce Theme (Price: 59 USD)
The Electro theme does not look exactly like a DVD theme. But you can turn it into a DVD theme very easily. You can definitely use this theme without any hesitation.
It has a lot of prebuilt demos. You can choose any one of them and replace the demo products with your CD/DVD products. However, don’t forget to check this demo for your DVD Website.
2. WoodMart – Responsive WooCommerce WordPress Theme (Price: 59 USD)
Don’t get me wrong! The name of the theme may seem confusing to you. But it’s not only made for wood-related products. Don’t believe me? Check a few of the demos that might suit your DVD business website.
It has a lot of other demos you can choose for your DVD website.
3. Porto | Multipurpose & WooCommerce Theme (Price: 59 USD)
It’s a multipurpose WordPress theme and compatible with WooCommerce. It has a lot of positive reviews from its old customers. You can check the theme details on Themeforest. And don’t forget to check the following demos.
The above two demos are made for gaming chairs & accessories respectively but you can definitely turn it into a DVD website very easily.
4. GoStore – Elementor WooCommerce WordPress Theme (Price: 19 USD)
It’s a fairly new theme and has come to the marketplace (ThemeForest) very recently. It doesn’t have too many reviews yet but upon my personal check, I can recommend the GoStore theme for your DVD website. Check the following demos:
Just like others, you can customize & turn it into a WordPress DVD theme very easily.
Up to this point (July 21), this theme has the lowest price ($19). It’s also compatible with Elementor. So if you like to design your website with a page-builder, you’re going to like this theme.
5. Metro – Minimal WooCommerce WordPress Theme (Price: 29 USD)
This theme was released in March 2020 and now it’s passing its growing stage. You may like its look & feel. I found it very clean & minimalistic. It also loads very fast. You may give it a try.
And don’t forget to check this demo. As always, you can turn it into a WordPress CD/DVD theme easily.
I think it’s enough for the premium themes. You got a couple of options. If that doesn’t match your requirements, feel free to check the free themes below. Keep in mind that free themes do not mean lower quality always. Even I found a few free themes which are way much better than a lot of premium themes. Let’s dig deeper.
Free WordPress Themes for DVD Website
1. Astra
This theme comes with many prebuilt layouts. You can use it for your DVD business website as well. Astra is compatible with three major page builders: Elementor, Beaver Builder & Brizy. Check some of its eCommerce demo below.

2. Elite Commerce
This theme has been released very recently. Up to this point (July 2021), it has only 200+ active installations and without any reviews. But upon my personal check, I found it very easy to use. And you can definitely use this theme for your CD/DVD website. Check this demo.

3. Classic Ecommerce
It’s also a new theme in the WordPress Repository. This theme has 1000+ active installations with no reviews. But I hope it will get some reviews very soon. Check this demo.
